KPF is a document management and imaging solution that electronically captures, indexes, completes and stores a legal electronic medical record. Information is captured via incoming faxes, scanning, or electronic feeds, and is stored in the imaging database. A picture archiving and communication system (PACS) is a medical imaging technology which provides economical storage and convenient access to images from multiple modalities (source machine types). It’s extensible and robust platform includes viewing, archiving, management, workflow and distribution of images. This is a client server application, where in DICOM images from DICOM machine are transferred to KPMD Imaging server using TCP/IP protocol. The .dic or .dcm files contain the patient demographics as well as the image.
Web Application Image Server is a web based application where the patient information is displayed. Customized reports can be generated and viewed.
Image Viewer is the workstation for displaying the images in a viewer. The patient images of the study are loaded in a single or series mode, and operations like magnification, Zoom, invert, Pan link reference lines, play video etc are performed
